Philippa is a renowned plantswoman and known for her use of interesting colour in her garden design. The plants are always the stars in Philippa's gardens and she combines texture, colour, structure and unexpected delights with plant choices and her gardens also reflect year round interest in their design.
Philippa has gained prestigious RHS Medal awards for show gardens and is qualified to RHS Diploma level, studies taken at Shuttleworth College, Bedfordshire. She is also a gardening writer; monthly features on gardens and plants appear in Hertfordshire Life and Essex Life and she also contributes regularly to regional and national media including BBC Gardeners' World magazine, Cambridge News, Cambridgeshire Journal and the Soil Association's website.
Philippa is consultant gardener at the Brocket Hall estate, Welwyn, Hertfordshire.
