Philippa's Border Design Service
Sometimes we just need to update our flower borders, give them a new lease of life or even start again with new planting. Quite a few people come to me just for border designs and it’s something that I really enjoy doing; the chance to work with different site conditions and plants, the opportunity to create a unique planting plan which will bring years of enjoyment to the garden owners.
The Border Design service is a cost-effective way to have part of your garden designed by a RHS award-winning medallist and it also makes a lovely personal gift for family and friends. Border Design gift vouchers are available.
How it works
The Border Design service is easy do. Simply fill in the on-line form on the right hand side of this page so I’ve got details of the area the border is situated, what theme and style you would like and a few other questions. Other information required is the size of your border and some photographs of the site would be really useful, too. Then send all that information to me, sit back and wait for a wonderful planting design to be sent to you.
What you get
- A unique hand drawn full colour border design showing where each plant goes in your new border
- A shopping list of what plants to buy, and how many
- A plant maintenance schedule to help you look after your border throughout the seasons
- All posted direct to your home or sent by e-mail

What it costs
The cost depends on the size of your border. All costs include VAT.
£180 - up to 10m2
£280 - between 10m2 and 20m2
£400 - between 20m2 and 30m2
Border areas over 30m2 are priced individually.
You will be invoiced for payment one week before the completed design is sent to you.
More than a border to design?
If you have a larger area to design and live a long way from me, I can also create a lovely garden design by post for you. Do get in contact to discuss your requirements.
The small print
Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of your finished design.
Invoices are sent out one week before the design is ready and payment needs to be received before the finished design is sent to you.
The design remains the property of Philippa Pearson until payment is received.
